Emyr takes 2015 MOCSA prize
Emyr Wyn Jones, a 23 year old bass-baritone from Aberdare is the 2015 MOCSA Young Welsh Singer of the Year.
The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama student was the judges choice following a Final of high quality on September 13th at the Orangery in Port Talbot.
The three other singers who contributed to a magnificent Final were:
Robert Lewis : A 19 year old Tenor from Welshpool, studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama
Meinir Wyn Roberts: A 24 year old Soprano from Caernarfon studying at The Royal Academy of Music. And
Charlotte Trepess: A 25 year old Soprano from Eastbourne (whose mother is from Bridgend), studying at The Royal Northern College of Music
