This year we are delighted that, for the first time, the annual MOCSA concert and Competition Final has been included in the programme of events for the Swansea International Festival and is being supported by Swansea University.
The Competition attracts entrants from major music colleges across the UK and the four finalists have been selected after a series of heats held during July. Click here for details of the four finalists. They will perform before a distinguished adjudication panel which includes former MOCSA winner and now a Grammy award winning international star, Rebecca Evans.
The Competition winner will be presented with The MOCSA Young Welsh Singer of the Year Trophy, sponsored by Gravells of Kidwelly and The Ivor E Sims Memorial Prize of £2,000, donated by the Choir. Each of the other Finalists will receive an inscribed plaque and a cheque for £300.
