New Musical Director for the Orpheus
The Morriston Orpheus Choir is delighted to announce the appointment of its ninth Musical Director, ahead of its 90th anniversary year in 2025.
Nathan Jones is a freelance musician working as a Music Director, Conductor, Orchestrator & Keyboard Player across the UK. Nathan studied a Master’s in Composition at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, after an undergraduate degree at Swansea University. As well as his new home with the Morriston Orpheus, his other musical posts include Music Director for The Alternative Orchestra, based in his hometown of Aberdare, and Music Director of pop choir Rechoir, based in Cardiff, where Nathan now lives.
