The Choir now singing on Platform 1 .....

It will not be the first time that the Morriston Orpheus has sung at Swansea's High Street Railway Station but on Friday 28 September the Choir's performance there is expected to attract a somewhat bigger audience than on the previous occasions.

It's going to be BBC Music Day and the Choir has been invited to take part in the BBC's 'platform to perform' initiative that day, along with 'Into the Ark', the Welsh duo who proved such a hit on ITV's 'The Voice' last year.  Choirs and singing groups from across the UK will be performing at railway stations at the heart of their local communities throughout the day and the Choir's performance with Into the Ark (left) in Swansea is one of the items scheduled for live broadcast during BBC One's Breakfast TV programme.

The Choir will be performing a number of items from around 7.30am to entertain the morning commuters with the live broadcast of one of the items expected to be at some point between 7.30 and 8.00 am.
