The Association was formed in 1974 and its purpose is twofold, namely:

       (a) to support the Morriston Orpheus Choir in all its endeavours.

       (b) to encourage the development of young Welsh singers - with the aid of the Choir


Membership

Members are drawn not only from within the United Kingdom but also from overseas countries such as Australia, Canada, France, New Zealand and the U.S.A. Many UK members accompany the Choir on its overseas concert tours and we are always delighted to welcome overseas members at concerts in their own countries.

In fact, it would be very unusual not to have members present at a concert given by the Choir within the United Kingdom or abroad.

*****    A regular free Newsletter containing information about the Choir's activities, details of forthcoming concerts (including the telephone numbers of the concert organisers) and details of the Choir's CDs on sale.  We are trying to reduce costs by issuing the Newsletter via email where possible. If you can let us have your current email address that would be helpful. Send details to our MOCSA registrar (details below)
