Sad News of Choir Vice President David Gravell
The Choir has received the sad news that one of its Vice Presidents, David Gravell, has passed away.
David was a regular attendee at choir concerts before deteriorating health prevented him from making the journey. In 2005 he was made a Vice President of the Choir in recognition of his ongoing support.
His long standing family business also sponsored a new trophy for the Choir's Supporters' Association's MOCSA Young Welsh Singer of the Year Competition in 2006. David presented the trophy to the winner on a number of occasions and is pictured below with the 2011 winner Kathryn McAdam.
All connected with the Morriston Orpheus Choir and MOCSA send condolences to his family at this sad time.
Funeral arrangements are as follows:
On Wednesday 17 April there will be a public service at Capel Morfa Kidwelly at 11 am and at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth at 1:45pm. Family flowers only
